Skin
Boosters
As we age, our skin begins to lose its ability to maintain moisture, so we resort to skin booster injection. These injections use the skins natural substance, hyaluronic acid, which holds huge amounts of moisture. The microinjections of deeply hydrating hyaluronic acid improves the elasticity, firmness, and radiance of the skin by restoring moisture.

The most common risks with injectable treatments such as skin booster treatments will include some possible bruising and swelling following treatment. If your skin booster is crosslinked and contains a hyaluronic acid, then the associated risks will be similar to dermal fillers. Rest assured, given our expertise and experience, this will be kept to a minimum.
Most people experience the best results within 1-2 months of completing a course of treatment. Results can take a few weeks following the first session. After this, results usually last for around six months, and then most people go on to have a single session for maintenance every 3-6 months.
While botox relaxes the fine lines by freezing muscles associated with the movements causing the lines, skin boosters are working on a ‘biochemical’ level of the skin to improve the overall skin quality, offering longer-lasting effects.
You may have some slight redness, and at worst some mild bruising, but this will subside after a few hours or a couple of days at worst. Please take note of the pre and post-care to help manage this.
