These are an acceleration of the skins natural exfoliation. It is a non-invasive and progressive technique.
The most widely used agent for medium peels is TCA(Trichloroacetic acid) however we do also use a mixture of AHA and BHA (alpha hydroxy acid and beta hydroxy acid).
Each session lasts between 15-30 minutes and follows the process of: cleaning, application of the peel and neutralization. Some peels do take place over the course of several weeks and will be performed as a series of sessions.
You will feel some tingling and a warm sensation when the peeling agent is applied. Depending on the intensity of the peel, you may observe a sensation similar to mild sunburn for a few days following the treatment.
