Something to smile about – November 2019

New first-of-its-kind dental health and aesthetics clinic in Leigh-on-Sea brings a fresh-faced approach to cosmetic treatments to Essex

We all want to look and feel our best and an innovative new clinic in Leigh-on-Sea is making this a reality by offering head-to-toe treatments in a boutique environment.

The clinic will be the first of its kind in Essex, offering drop-in dental hygiene appointments alongside cutting-edge facial aesthetics and body treatments. The treatment menu has been designed specifically to be tailored to fit around people with busy schedules, with the added bonus of no waiting lists and online booking.

Opening on November 28, The Belfairs Clinic has been founded by local business woman and managing director Charlotte Body alongside award-winning dental practitioner and clinical director Luke Snelling.

With 15 years’ experience in aesthetics, cosmetic surgery and beauty as a publisher, events and awards organiser and salon owner, Body has worked with the industry’s most elite professionals and was passionate about creating an environment where people could access feel-good treatments that were ahead of the curve.

A qualified dental hygienist and therapist with additional qualifications in cosmetic injectables, Snelling has a passion for both dentistry and facial aesthetics working together in harmony and was recently shortlisted for an award for the Best Lip Sculpting 2019 by the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics.

No more need to fear the dentist

Going to the dentist is something many people dread and one of The Belfairs Clinic’s key philosophies is to make this experience more luxury and enjoyable, as well as making it accessible to people of all ages and budgets, without compromising on quality of care.

Being the first of its kind in Essex, what sets the Belfairs clinic apart is its exclusive ‘drop-in’ service. Oral hygiene is key to a beautiful smile but is often neglected but with Belfairs’ drop-in options a scale and polish and freshen up has never been more accessible.

Zoom teeth whitening will also be on offer alongside other cosmetic dental procedures such as, composite bonding, an advanced technique that is a quick and pain-free way to address a number of cosmetic concerns such as chips and cracks and gap closing and composite veneers, which will require an initial consultation and assessment. They will also offer screenings for gum disease, replacement fillings, x-rays and night guards.

Best face forward

Alongside its dental services the clinic will be offering a range of results-driven and scientifically proven treatments for facial rejuvenation including wrinkle reduction with botox injections, lip enhancement, non-surgical nose jobs and facial contouring and volumising with dermal fillers.

Other treatments will include botox to combat excessive sweating, known as hyperhidrosis, and to alleviate symptoms caused by teeth grinding teeth (bruxism). Injections can be used to relieve the tension in the jaw as well as to taper the appearance of the jawline.

Skin firming and hydrating treatments will be offered using Sunekos, an injectable treatment designed to combat saggy and ageing skin on areas such as the neck, décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen.

The skin is the canvas of the face so in-clinic targeted facials and peels as well as dermaplaning will also be on offer to tackle fine lines and wrinkles, discolouration, under eye puffiness, rough, dull skin, enlarged pores, oily and acne prone skin, dry skin, hyperpigmentation and hyperkeratosis.

The clinic is also passionate about helping teenagers with acne and will be offering options for younger clients too.

Body work

We all have parts of our bodies we’d like to change and stubborn pockets of excess fat are the main culprit. The Belfairs Clinic will be leading the way with pioneering treatments to combat this including, fat-busting injections with Aqualyx and non-surgical body contouring with Lipo-firm.

The Lipofirm treatment is non-invasive and does not involve surgery. Instead it uses radiofrequency to target fat cells, get rid of cellulite and tighten skin.

Hair loss

Scalp micropigmentation will be available for those concerned about hair loss. It is a highly advanced method of tattooing which can help create the look of a hair follicle to disguise or improve the appearance of male pattern baldness, alopecia, female hair loss, scars or simply to add the illusion of more density to the hair or enhance the appearance of hair transplants.

The Belfairs Clinic will be opening its doors on November 28. For more information contact [Dental Health & Aesthetics Clinic, 313 Eastwood Road North, Leigh on sea, Essex SS9 4LT 01702880919 charlotte@dhaclinic.co.uk www.dhaclinic.co.uk ]
